The last two images are of a design that reminded me of trips to the beach. One is a detail. I used crochet and wool threads adding some beads from antique jewelry.

Hi Meg This is Heather's Mom....lol. My journey with thread is very similar to yours, made me want to go up in the attic and dig out the early pieces I made.... and some of my Mom's work too. I have quilt blocks she made and a set of tea towels she embroidered.
